TM LOGISTICS WELCOMES NEW FINANCE DIRECTOR TO ITS BOARD

National supply chain specialist TM Logistics (TML) has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of a new member to its board of directors.

Midlands-based TML, which has a reputation for outstanding customer service and delivery, has promoted Bev Sherratt to the position of finance director. The company is now moving forward with business plans for continued growth over the next five years.

Thirty-six year old Bev joins fellow board members, managing director Stephen Taylor, UK operations director Grahame Taylor and business development director David Bratton.

Bev joined parent company Taylors of Martley plc in 2000 as financial controller and has been promoted to head of finance and now finance director.

Bev is excited about the future, despite the current economic climate.  She said: “Times ahead may be tough, but we are embracing the challenges and focusing on the future.

“We have a clear agenda for business development and I look forward to supporting the continued growth of the company.”

For Stephen Taylor, Bev’s appointment to the board is well deserved recognition of her commitment to TML.

He said: “She has played a key role in delivering a profitable and successful business.”

Employing over 275 people in 16 on-site operations and warehouses across the UK, TM Logistics is well placed to service the needs of its customers.

Nationally, the firm operates a fleet of over 200 vehicles and 300 trailers and ranks many top name companies such as DCS Europe, Crown Food UK, Kingspan Plc, Rexam Beverage Can UK Ltd and Plastic Omnium among its client portfolio.
